Pyramids Fortune joined Nektan’s horde of online casinos back in 2017. Although not ancient by any stretch, this Egyptian-themed platform, which operates out of spice bazaar in Cairo (it doesn’t really), is in danger of becoming established.
Happily, Pyramid’s Fortune Casino fits right in with its many third-party stable-mates. Save for the logo, which comprises a vague depiction of a pharaoh, customisation is practically non-existent.
The colour-scheme features black, gold and, um, nothing else. It nevertheless offers a fleeting distraction from Nektan’s boilerplate lobby which has become more prolific than an Arabian camel tick.
So everything seems to be in place so far. Read on as we conduct a wider evaluation as part of our Pyramids Fortune casino review.
The usual suite of big-brand casino games is available. This includes slots, jackpots, instant win games and bingo. And in keeping with the casino’s overarching theme, there are plenty of Egyptian-inspired titles.
These are: such as Eye of Horus, Cleopatra, Cleo’s Wish, Mega Pyramid, Pyramid: Quest of Immortality, 100,000 Pyramids, Pyramidion (yes really), Lucky Pharaoh, Coins of Egypt, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Egypt Classic, Crown Egypt and Egyptian Fortunes.
North African antiquity has long been a wellspring of inspiration for developers. But it appears that the shadoof has started to bring up mud – a host of low-quality slots have started to cake the market, some of which are mentioned above. Give us a break, eh guys?
As well as standard slots, Pyramids Fortune also includes the usual collection of Mega Jackpot progressives. Traditional table games such as blackjack and roulette are also present and correct.
Unusually, Pyramids Fortune casino features two welcome promotions. The first offers 10% cash-back on losses of up to £200. Sadly, this particular incentive is beset by unclear terms and conditions. Here’s an excerpt under the heading ‘Promotion Details’
“1. To be eligible to claim the Welcome bonus, players must deposit a minimum of £10 on their first deposit”
3. Players must have deposited a minimum of £50 on their first deposit to qualify for the cashback offer.”
Confused? Yeah, us too.
The second welcome offer pledges up to 50 bonus spins on Starburst, Aloha Cluster Pays and Finn and the Swirly Spin. A minimum deposit of £10 is in place with lower-than-average wagering rules (x20).
Nektan’s standard customer support section is available. So, as well as live chat and email, there’s also the usual FAQ section. The support team operates on a 24 hour basis as well.
In concluding our Pyramids Fortune casino review, we must say that the inchorent t&cs attached to the first welcome promo don’t exactly inspire confidence. The deal isn’t that great either. Having said that, game variety is fine with hundreds of slots and table games available to play.
Customer support is also adequate and is the networked suite of cashier option. So Pyramid’s Fortune isn’t necessarily a bad casino. But it could certainly do with a more transparent sign-up deal.
