Cloud Casino was launched in early 2016 and integrates Netkan’s homogeneous game lobby layout. As a white-label offering, it features a full quota of casino games from the illustrious content provider, which is a good start. But is there anything that differentiates this particular online casino from its many stable-mates? We begin our Cloud Casino review by evaluating its UI.
The Cloud Casino website offers a landing page for unregistered users. It comprises a rendering of Nektan’s game lobby and a large promotional header featuring a confused-looking woman in Venetian mask.
This quickly reverts to the standard format the moment you signal your attention to register. From then on, you’ve got the same old lobby structure that you’ll find on hundreds upon hundreds of Nektan-powered casinos.
The only silver lining here is the functionality offered by the classic left-sided menu panel – games can be arranged according to category, provider and volatility – a simple but useful addition that can make a big difference to UX. Other than that, there’s nothing much to suggest that Cloud Casino is any different to all the other third-party casinos that ply their trade via the Evolve platform.
Nektan’s full complement of casino games is available in the categories of bingo, slots, live dealer and instant wins. Popular slots include Spin Town, Cleopatra, Action Bank, 300 Shields and Foxin’ Wins. There’s also the usual networked collection of progressive jackpot games as well as live dealer titles.
Astoundingly, Cloud Casino offers some information about its VIP scheme – this makes a change from most Nektan site which are often rather bashful about imparting any meaningful particulars about their high-roller allurements.
But happily, Cloud Casino breaks rank, revealing that big-spending/profligate players have access to an array of vaguely-worded perks. These include personal VIP management, special welcome bonuses, special weekly bonuses, special prize draws and special promotions.
Monthly cash-back offers are also fed to salivating players. But for some reason, Cloud Casino doesn’t deem them ‘special’. Why ever not?
Interestingly, ‘exclusive’ email and customer support also form part of Cloud Casino’s crackerjack VIP club. But what exactly does ‘exclusive’ mean in this context? Is the support team not allowed to cc in friends and family when emailing VIP players? Perhaps this is only permitted for rank-and-file players. OK, we jest. But the use of such doublespeak is pretty nauseating at times. Players aren’t stupid…for the most part. So don’t treat them like they are.
Nektan’s standardised customer support suite is present and correct. As a result, confused gamers can get in touch via email or telephone. Live chat is provided too. The latter two options are available 24 hours a day. As ever, the usual FAQ section is also available offering solutions to questions relating to accounts, registration, deposits/withdrawals.
Despite our rant about VIP wording, Cloud Casino offers a well-rounded casino gaming package. The sunshine started to break through when we discovered its extensive game collection. The ominous prospect of thunder and rain then diminished significantly when came across the generous welcome package. And finally, the clouds truly parted when…oh forget it. This is one of the best Nektan white label casinos that we’ve come across thus far. There are far worse operators with which to blow all of your money.
